No, admission to Middle Island is completely free. Come and visit, we welcome everyone!

Middle Island is open daily from May until October. The gates are open from 6AM-9PM, you can visit the museum from 9AM-5PM, and the on-site restaurant is open from 11AM-7PM.

Yes, of course! Visitors are welcomed to swim and enjoy the water at the beach, but please note there are NO Lifeguards on duty so enjoy at your own risk. Children should always be supervised while on or near the beach.

Yes, absolutely! We love to see your four legged friends having fun. To help keep Middle Island clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone we kindly ask that:Pets remain on a leash at all times.Owners clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in the appropriate bins. We have convenient cleanup stations along the walking trails, complete with waste bags.Please be respectful of other visitors, wildlife, and park facilities.

For everyone’s safety, BBQ’S are NOT permitted. However, you’re free to pack a meal and enjoy a picnic!

Unfortunately, there is no longer a boat dock on the Island.

Yes, we have three portable washrooms available as well as washrooms inside the on-site restaurant.

Yes! Free parking is available on the Island, please note that parking along the causeway is forbidden to ensure emergency access and visitor accessibility and safety.
